yeah, i mean its him, just that its his part of evil/hollow power. Zangetsu has his own appearance because zanpaktos are special, but his hollow power looks like him, cause its part of his own gained power. I hope this somewhat makes sense xD

Because it's part of the anime. If you skip it, it's your fault. Just accept the fact that Bount Arc became Canon in anime. I'm glad i didn't skip it and i enjoy watching it.

Idk about this guy complaining about filler but I definitely enjoyed bount arc. Kariya is cool and the 3 mod souls especially Ririn is very cute!

Good for you mate. But they did that part in order to give to the mangaka time to draw new material, therefore I don't consider the Bount filler part of the story.

It was a poorly made filler, Ichigo barely shows up, uryu was supposed to be the protagonist of the arc yet he did nothing, not so great fights. They did the filler arc to make time for the mangaka which is very thoughtful yet when the bount arc ended they still included the characters which I don't mind but it gets on the nerves of the fans when the bount characters are still in the show when they show no connection to the manga.

This is anime and not all anime follow manga. I don't care if it's filler or not but it is part of the anime, if you skip it too bad for you. The fact that they added Bount character to main story, it just mean they don't want you to skip it. It have no connection to the manga but they show the Bount connection to the main story. You should follow anime's story rather than manga's story but if you want to follow manga, just go read manga instead.

Belive me i don't mind fillers i actually enjoy them sometimes i even watched all 720 ep of naruto without skipping any ep it's just that 40 eps of filler at a time is so fucking much to tolerate plus no one in the entire fucking internet has wrote anything good about the bount arc even fucking Google thinks it's the worst arc in bleach

They didn't wanted the anime to catch up to the manga at that time, so they made a big filler arc so that the author can write more material. Just take one piece for example, the anime is close to catching upto the manga but they don't make fillers, instead they extend and add more scenes to fuk up the pacing.
The same case was for TYBW arc when it was starting in the manga. The studio ended the anime instead of making more filler so that the author could complete the manga that they could start the production later more efficiently with good pacing. And now that's why it's returning this year. Bount arc is FILLER AND WAS NOT CANON, i dont understand why ur ass hurts terribly if people want to skip fillers

It's part of the anime yes :3 but the definition of filler is that it's non-canon. Regardless of how good the arc was or how much anyone enjoyed it is a separate matter. Also the whole event seems to be erased from everyone's minds (except Ichigo here), and Ichigo hasn't seen nor spoken a word to Ririn ever since, while they were so close in the Bount arc, that's just sad... its easier for me to just accept that it never happened, than pretend it did and see ichigo as a heartless ******* who dump his friends and never ever talks to them again.

A very solid episode, the hollow has a great point Ichigo's growth is fastest when he has a cause to fight for but it is clearly not sustainable. It goes for all the soul reapers Ichigo come across, they all found it in them to be even stronger to keep up with Ichigo.

Also after a couple of episodes the ed song really grows on you.

Arguably one of the best episodes I've seen in a battle shounen. Best to watch the filler Bount arc to fully understand this episode though.
